Dad where are we going? 아빠 어디가

‘Dad, Where Are You Going‘, a new variety show from MBC, which began airing on January 6th, 2013 after ‘I Am a Singer 2‘. It’s about five celebrity fathers and their young children going on various trips around the country. The kids are lovely and too cute and it would be my favorite program. Ratings constantly rose as the interaction between the children and their fathers, as well as a sparking romance between the children, gained attention. In this post I will review all about Dad, kid, and the review about this variety program.
Let me Introduce to you about Dad and his kid.

1. The cast consists of actor Sung Dong-il, 46 years old.

His son Sung Joon, 7 years old.


Sung Joon is such a cool kid but he listen his father as well. He’s good boy and afraid at his father at first but from this variety he realized that his father loves him.


2. MC/Broadcaster Kim Sung-joo, 41 years old.

His son Kim Min Gook, 9 years old.



He’s the older kid among other kids on this program but he a little bit childish or often to cry because something he doesn’t want it. Beside this, he is a good old brother to his dongsaeng (young brother/sister).

3. Actor Lee Jong-hyuk, 39 years old.

His son Lee Joon Soo, 6 years old.

Joon Soo is quite unique from the others. He is so cute when talk to his father and ask for something. I remember when he reply a question word, “왜?” (it means why?) with his cute and unique tone.

4. Professional soccer player Song Jong-gook, 34 years old.

His daughter Song Jia, 6 years old.


She’s the one and only girl in this program. So, she’s quite popular among the kids. She’s so cute, brave, and smart.

5. Singer/former member of Vibe, Yoon Min-soo, 33 years old.

His son Yoon Hoo, 7 years old.


His nickname is Hoo. Loves to eat. Brave, smart and Jia lover ㅋ ㅋ. He protects Jia often also his hyungs and dongsaeng.
The story began was about the first trip these dads and their kids ever went on together without Mom and in a society where the moms are the nucleus of the family, that makes it a big deal.  The show explores just how these busy celebrity dads will be able to handle the care of their kids, the roles they have in their child’s life, and their ability to accomplish things together .  The greatest thing to see while watching the show is the growth of the relationships between the fathers and their children which was already evident from the first trip to the next.

Hoo walks together with Jia. The adorable Hoo and his chivalrous ways towards Jia–who he only takes care of because she’s his dongsaeng, NOT because he has a crush on her or anything.
